Congratulations to Morgan Day (Art History Major/Archaeology Minor/History Minor)!! She has been accepted into Boston University's Preservation Studies MA program concentrating in Archaeology.
She writes, "My grad school plans consist of attending Boston University's Preservation Studies MA program concentrating in Archaeology. I will be taking advantage of BU's hands-on learning style for areas consisting in preservation planning, historical research and exploration. I am really looking forward to taking courses in International Heritage Management and Historic Preservation Theory and Practice.
After graduation at USM, I plan to continue interning and/or volunteering at the Pejepscot Historical Center acting as the Skolfield-Whittier South Attic project manager and potentially intern at the Brick Store Museum working with collections management. I am so appreciative of my mentor Nate Hamiton, and incredible professors and advisors, Donna Cassidy and Libby Bischof. The opportunities they have given me to further my education and experience have been monumental in my learning progression.”
