Robert Descoteaux '07

Robert earned a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2012 from G0ddard College. He is a LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) and have been working in community mental health since 2005, in mostly high acuity programs and mobile crisis, holding a certificate as a trainer for crisis service providers in Maine. Currently a manager with Maine General Community Care, overseeing the Assertive Community Treatment program, he is actually back at USM to advance my career in policy and leadership, in the MPPM program and certificate in Public Health program. His primary interests include mental health policy, mental health service delivery, health care funding, and health disparities among those with severe and persistent mental illness.
