Michelle Drucker, M.Ed. is a Career Advisor in the Career & Employment Hub and an instructor in the Honors Program at the University of Southern Maine. She is passionate about serving as a catalyst and coach for others to explore, identify and achieve their interests, potential and goals.

Michelle has worked in a variety of professional environments, which include non-profit, corporate, and 17 years in higher education. She has a background in Human Resources (HR), primarily in the areas of learning and development, organizational development, and leadership/coaching. Before her current roles at USM, Michelle previously worked in HR at the University for twelve years, including as the Director of Leadership and Organizational Development.

To support her work, Michelle is a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, uses StrengthsFinder, completed a professional International Coaching Federation-recognized coaching certificate program through the University of Miami, and is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). She is also a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, and the Maine Career Development Association.

Being involved in the community is important to Michelle, and she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run-Maine. A native of Alaska, Michelle enjoys spending time in the outdoors, appreciating all that Maine has to offer.

Michelle received a B.A. in Sociology/Public Administration and an M.Ed. in Health Education/Higher Education from the University of Arizona.

In the Honors Program, she co-teaches HON 415: Honors Capstone.
