Netty Provost Ph.D.

Netty Provost is originally from Skowhegan Maine, and has recently returned to Maine after spending several years living and working in Indiana. She began working for the University of Southern Maine in 2016 and is currently a Professional Academic Advisor in the Department of Advising. She serves as the Academic Advisor for the School of Nursing.
She has completed her Doctorate in Philosophy from Purdue University, where she also attained a Master’s degree in Philosophy. Netty attended the University of Maine where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy.
In her spare time, Netty enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, podcasts, board games, and dance.
She has a passion for teaching, learning, and mentoring and she is enthusiastic about working with students to help them succeed in their college goals, develop as individuals and learn to think critically.
