Job Agent

Plug in to the most exciting career opportunities at the University of Southern Maine's three campuses in Portland, Gorham and Lewiston. 

Our Job Agent tool can be used to set up easy job notifications. Only a few minutes are needed to complete an applicant profile and enter keywords that reflect your particular interests or qualifications. When a job is available that matches your profile, you'll receive an email notification to apply. 

Here are the steps to follow to create your applicant profile so you never miss a job opening! 

  1. If you do not have an existing account with HireTouch, create a new account by clicking "Create an Account" link on this page: https://usm.hiretouch.com/applicant-profile-login
    1. The account includes your demographics (name, address, phone, etc.)
    2. You will also be asked to create a user id and password
  2. When that account is complete, scroll to the bottom of the page for “Job Search Agent.”
    1. “Edit Job Agent”
    2. Enter keywords that might be found in a job title may be interested in 
    3. You can also pick a location – city
    4. You can also choose a department
    5. When done you will see the words you have chosen under ‘job search agent’
  3. Go back to the left side of the screen to logout - https://usm.hiretouch.com/logout
  4. You can access this page at any time to update your profile.
  5. If you’re notified of a job opening that matches your keyword via email, there will be a link in that email for you to follow to apply.
