Maine Boys to Men - CEU-certified training opportunity
Posted February 17, 2021
With the success of four virtual Educators and CoachesTrainings this fall and winter, Maine Boys to Men is hosting trainings in March and April, and spots are still currently available! This training is funded by the US Department of Justice and is aimed at ensuring an inclusive and violence-free school culture for all students and athletes.
Our Educators and Coaches Training is entirely activity-based and discussion-centered. We believe that true learning occurs when we are allowed to interact with the material and with each other in a meaningful way.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other educators and coaches and build your skills navigating difficult student interactions!
Training Sessions for March: This virtual program consists of four 2-hour sessions, that will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two consecutive weeks from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
Mar 2nd - Building Connections, Gender as a Social Construct
Mar 4th - Building Understanding, Harmful Gender Stereotypes
Mar 9th - Building Safety, Boundaries and Agreements
Mar 11th - Building Community, Upstander Intervention
Because this training progresses in a linear fashion, it is integral that you take all four sessions in order. Please confirm your availability for all four sessions when signing up.
