When it comes to leadership and leadership studies, Laymon Hicks is no stranger.  Laymon attended The Florida State University, attaining a B.S. in Criminology with minors in Psychology and Communications, and a M.S. in Instructional Systems with a concentration in Human Performance and Motivation.  While at Florida State University, Laymon served as the Student Body President and member of the University Board of Trustees.  Today, Laymon is a doctoral student in the Organizational Leadership program at Northeastern University.  He travels the nation as a youth motivational speaker and author of four inspirational books for students.

He resides in Tampa, Florida.

Research Interests

Laymon’s research interests revolve around school leadership, followership, and leader-member exchange.
