Dr. Turesky’s research and publications are focused on women and leadership, the nexus of experiential learning and leadership development, training and development, organizational behavior and change leadership. Professor Turesky has published in such journals as the Organizational Management Journal, Academic Leadership Journal, The Journal of Leadership Education, The Coaching Psychologist Journal and the International Journal of Leadership and Change.

Elizabeth is a member of the National Training Laboratory Institute of Applied Behavioral Science (NTL), the International Leadership Association, the Academy of Management, and the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. She has been recognized with the Maine Campus Compact’s Donald Harward Faculty Award for Service-Learning Excellence as well as awards for her research and service at the University of Southern Maine. Elizabeth is a co-chair of the University of Maine Summer Academy of Adult Learning and Teaching (SAALT). She is co-founder of the Maine Organizational Development Association (MODA).
