Research Interests

Dr. Coste's research and publications are in the areas of leadership innovations, group dynamics, and organizational communication.

Areas of Scholarship

Applications of her work focus on refining the training processes that enhance team creativity and on helping professionals develop the knowledge and techniques they need to enhance their leadership abilities in multi-cultural, multi-national environments.  She is the founder of The Montagu Project, a global learning lab in South Africa.

Tara is a Colleague of the Creative Education Foundation and Past-President of the American Creativity Association.  Over the years, she had received awards for her research, teaching, and service at the University of Southern Maine.
