Cristina Kerluke joined the Learning Commons team at the University of Southern Maine in April 2019. She is responsible for managing the Peer Academic Coaching, Learning Commons Navigator, and Technology Assistant peer support programs, in addition to coordinating academic support resources and programming for USM students. Cristina also assists in managing the day-to-day operations at the Learning Commons. 

Originally from St. Agatha, Maine, Cristina comes to USM from the University of Maine, where she worked in Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes for the previous 16 years. In her role as Assistant Director & Tutor Coordinator, Cristina was responsible for the ongoing planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive academic support program for NCAA Division I student-athletes. She provided day-to-day departmental leadership for students, coaches and administration, in addition to mentoring students to obtain optimal academic success through the establishment of study skill development and academic accountability. As Tutor Coordinator, she coordinated all aspects of the program, including the recruitment, hiring, training and daily management of student employees.
