Recent Publications

Jenna Guiggey, mezzo soprano, is a singer and music educator based in Portland, ME. Ms. Guiggey studied classical voice with Ellen Chickering and Bruce Fithian at the University of Southern Maine, earning degrees in music education and vocal pedagogy. While at USM, she was a soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, and participated in numerous performances with the Opera Workshop.  Ms. Guiggey has also studied Baroque vocal technique extensively, and was selected to participate in the Queens College Baroque Opera Workshop where she studied with Julianne Baird. Jenna has performed locally with The St. Mary Schola, Choral Art Society, Rossini Club, Lyric Music Theater, Cast Aside Productions, and numerous local bands and performers. Jenna maintains an active private studio in Portland and directs choirs at Greely Middle School and The Boy Singers of Maine.
