Kathleen Scott, pianist, is a conductor, voice coach and master class teacher. She has been on the faculties of many conservatories and universities, including The Curtis Institute of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Boston University, Temple University, SUNY College at Purchase and others. She was the co-founder of The Goliard Chamber Orchestra.

Her highly acclaimed voice studio, Studio Vivace, prepared many students for their ultimate acceptance into major conservatories and universities.

Since coming to Maine from New York in 2008 Ms. Scott has conducted with the Hartford Opera Theater, given master classes and accompanied numerous recitals. For two seasons she was the music director of PORTopera's Young Artists Program. Last summer she conducted Le Nozze di Figaro at the Bel Cantanti Summer Festival in Washington, D.C.

Currently she is on the Artist Faculty at the University of Southern Maine and is Director of Music at Williston-Immanuel United Church in Portland.
