The USM Chamber Singers are the university’s premiere a cappella vocal ensemble. Their annual spring concert, conducted by Robert Russell, professor of music and choral activities, will feature three selections from Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, Murray Schafer’s atmospheric Epitaph for Moonlight, Eric Whitacre’s Water Night, the continuation of the premiere season of USM sophomore music major Matthew LaBerge’s Guiding Light, and spirituals from the African-American tradition.
