Title: “The Maine Tracking Network: what’s it about? Demos and sneak peaks."
Chris Paulu, ScD (Environmental Epidemiologist, Assistant Research Professor): Chris has a doctorate in environmental health with a concentration in environmental epidemiology from Boston University School of Public Health, where he was a member of a research team conducting cancer case-control investigations. He has been a faculty member of USM since 2007, and works embedded in Maine CDC’s Environmental & Occupational Health Program. He conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses involving spatial analysis, geocoding, and mapping applications; supervises epidemiology staff; and interacts with and provides consultation to other Maine CDC programs. Chris is actively designing and developing custom, interactive data displays for the Maine Tracking Network data portal, which is currently transitioning to enhanced Tableau visualizations.
