There are a number of devices on the market today that do amazing things, yet there are many moving data parts. How does a drone know where it is? How do I capture data under a bridge while driving? How can I be certain that the data is as accurate as the author says? In this talk we will cover the intersections of data collection platforms and how they work together.
Bradford Folta is owner at Honey Badger Analytics. He holds a BA Geological Sciences from the University of Minnesota Duluth and is currently pursuing a MS Environmental GIS - Unity College, Maine. He went to school for geology and fell into geodetics and GIS when he started his professional career with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency back in 2008. Since then, he has worked for Cape Cod National Seashore via the GeoCorp Program and also the University of Delaware SHARP program, among other places.
