Erin Arneson, MPH joined the Cutler Institute in January as a Research Associate, supporting a Maine CDC contract for epidemiological surveillance and communications. Erin is developing health communication campaigns across the state. Through her work with diverse populations on varying public health issues, Erin knows the importance of tailoring messages to specific audience segments. She graduated from The University of Iowa with her Master of Public Health degree specializing in Health Communication and holds a BA degree in Spanish. Her recent work includes designing and implementing the evaluation of an evidence-based education tool for the American Lung Association’s Asthma Coalition of Queens. Her specific interest is in advancing an evidence-based approach in the development of public health campaigns that address community-level health and health equity problems. On summer weekends you will find her performing with the Maine Pops Concert Band. Year-round, Erin enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling to beautiful places.
