Students at Good Shepherd
Students and staff members from the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston-Auburn College collaborated with long time community partner Good Shepherd Food Bank for Husky Service Day.
Students at Workshop
The workshop convened at USM LAC and brought together approximately 50 Edward Little High School students as well as 25 USM LAC students, along with staff from both schools in order to build community among students as well as to explore the ethics and history behind civil rights movements.

An American Red Cross  blood drive will take place at USM LAC on Tuesday, April 22, from 10 am - 3 pm in room 170. Donors in April will receive a coupon for a free regular 6 -inch sub at participating Subway restaurants in Maine and New Hampshire.

The blood drive is being sponsored by the Student Veterans Association at USM's Lewiston-Auburn College. To pre-register please visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code "USM".

Are you planning to do your internship in Summer or Fall 2014?

If so, you may have some questions, and even some concerns, about the process. Professor Leigh Mundhenk would like to answer your questions and give you a thorough Orientation to the Internship.

Please plan to attend one of the internship orientation sessions offered. During these sessions the following will be discussed and explained:

  • Planning for  your internship
  • Writing your learning contract
  • Selecting a site
  • Implementing internship procedures

Many students report that their internship is one of the most valuable learning experiences that they have at LAC!
