Jurors Denise Froelich, Jessica Routhier, and Nathan Stevens selected 46 works, including paintings, photography, ceramic pieces, sculpture, drawings, prints, and digital pieces. Awards will be given during the opening reception, Thursday, March 12, from 6-8 p.m.

Traci Molloy, Brooklyn, N.Y.-based artist and education activist, is being hosted by the USM Art Department and Gallery for an artist residency during the spring semester. Molloy will create collaborative artwork with the Center’s Multicultural Program, which practices a peer support model to build and strengthen community. Seven USM art students who are enrolled in Molloy’s USM Artist-in-Residence course are assisting Molloy with the artwork and attending the Center’s program to observe.

The exhibition includes sculpture, installation, digital works, painting, prints, and ceramic pieces by 10 USM art faculty and 10 alumni with whom the faculty have chosen to exhibit.
