Nicolas Dosman

On Dec. 4, the Forecaster previewed the “Magic of Christmas,” the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s annual holiday show at Merrill Auditorium, highlighting assistant professor and director of choral studies at USM, Nicolás Alberto Dosman, as “a new face” in this year’s ensemble.

Dosman will direct the Magic of Christmas Chorus of 100 singers for this year’s 12-performance run.

The popular holiday program includes classical and popular music to celebrate the season with the full Symphony Orchestra, chorus and featured soloists Suzanne Nance and Susie Pepper.

The “Magic of Christmas” runs from Dec. 8-17. Tickets can be purchased here. Read the Forecaster article here.
