We are excited to welcome Dr. Harvey Kesselman, Ed.D. as USM's 13th President.

Dr. Kesselman earned his Ed.D. from Widener University and was previously the Provost and Executive Vice President at Stockton University in New Jersey.

As part of the evolution in the Muskie School of Public Service - the new Master's in Policy, Planning, and Management (MPPM) prepares graduates for leadership roles in government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector by developing a strong, multi-disciplinary foundation of skills and knowledge in the fields of policy, planning and management. As part of the University of Southern Maine’s Metropolitan University initiative, the program also encourages students to interact with their surrounding community, through various forms of engagement.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Harvey Kesselman, Ed.D. as USM's 13th President. Dr. Kesselman earned his Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from Widener University and was previously the Provost and Executive Vice President at Stockton University in New Jersey.
