This information is intended for students who are currently enrolled in the University of Southern Maine (USM) undergraduate nursing program or in our graduate Master’s Options program.

- Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) Online Orientation:
- In preparation for your clinicals, you are required to complete an online orientation through the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS). This program is comprised of training modules that are applicable to all of our partnering Health Care Organizations (clinical and practicum sites). It also includes additional site-specific materials provided by the individual HCO’s, some of which require paperwork that must be completed and handed in weeks in advance. This paperwork must be completed in order to start your clinicals.
