International Students
Resources for International Applicants
USM is home to students from more than 25 countries, bringing diverse perspectives to our academic community and enriching the campus experience for all. USM is ideal for international students looking for a unique American experience because we offer small classes and a variety of learning opportunities outside the classroom.
We offer two great college experiences in one: a bustling city campus in Portland, and a more traditional college experience in the classrooms and residence halls at our rural Gorham campus. Portland has been highly ranked on many national lists, including America's Most Livable Cities and Top 20 Best Small Cities for College Students.
