Meet your tour guides

Our USM Ambassadors will be your tour guides. Like our student body, these student ambassadors range from energetic first-year students to accomplished graduating seniors; from transfer students to working adults. These students bring with them their own unique stories, experiences, and skills to help you find yourself here. Learn more.

Junior Preview Day

During Maine public school vacations in February and April, we offer a day filled with tours of our Portland and Gorham campuses, an information session to get your burning questions answered, and the opportunity to interact with faculty and current students. (While these events are intended for high school juniors, anyone is welcome to attend.)

Next Event:
February and April 2019

In the event of inclement weather, the University of Southern Maine may close, and scheduled events and tours may be canceled as a result.

Experience USM

If you're interested in visiting us, you may also be interested in attending a curated special experience that complements our general information session and campus tour. Experience USM events give students and their families the opportunity to immerse themselves in an area of study (or two!) of their choosing by getting up close and personal with our programs, community, and culture.
