Presenter: Sam Hayward, Chef, Co-Owner Fore St. Restaurant

Over a career spanning 39 years, Sam Hayward has been a member of acommunity of chefs, farmers, fishers, and foragers who have made ourstate a global leader in building fair, clean, and sustainable food systems.Sam sees Maine as a bioregion with foods produced here expressing apowerful, distinctive terroir, or taste of place.

Due to the popularity of our lectures, preregistration is STRONGLY encouraged in order to secure a seat. Note: SAGE begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. Prepaid seating cannot be guaranteed after 9:20.
