Occupy Maine Workshop Saturday May 19

What are they up to at Occupy Maine? Are they still living in tents? What’s with the finger-wagging at their “General Assemblies?” Who are these “99%?” Do they have any defined goals? Are they accomplishing anything important, or what?

If you’re wondering about some of these questions yourself, come to a workshop on OCCUPY MAINE on Saturday, May 19, from 9:30 to 12:00, at Wishcamper, Rm. 102, and get some answers. Five activists from Occupy have agreed to spend a relaxed and informative Saturday morning with us, complete with visuals and small group discussions. They’re eager to talk about what they’ve been doing, but, just as important, they want to listen to us and find out what we think about the state of our political and economic culture.

So please join us Saturday morning the 19th! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to interact with members – young and old – of one of the most powerful movements in our lifetime.

Or is it? You decide.

Call or stop by the OLLI office today to sign up for this workshop.  $15.  We need to make sure the minium number of students is met by Monday, May 14, so please don't delay.
