Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR) Semi-annual training

Dear NIH and NSF Principal Investigators,

In order to maintain compliance with NIH and NSF requirements, USM conducts a mandatory Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training twice a year. Please click on the following link to determine which of your personnel is required to take the in-person and on-line trainings. For more information click here.

The certification has two parts: 1) CITI online "General RCR basic" course prior to 2) attending the in-person session.

The next Zoom RCR training will be in Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 12 PM to 4:30 PM  Pre-resister here via Zoom.

As you are aware we are conducting this training in order to maintain compliance with National Institute of health (NIH) and National Science Foundation (NSF) requirements for your grants.

These in-person training sessions will be a total of four hours and must be completed in conjunction with the CITI RCR training module: General RCR, Basic Course. The instructions to the training can be found at this link.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have or if you need to see if one of your students has already attended the training:

Take care,
