Master of Occupational Therapy Program

USM's Lewiston-Auburn College offers an entry-level Master of Occupational Therapy Program for students who have an undergraduate degree in any field.  

The Master of Occupational Therapy program takes an integrative and holistic approach in educating students to become Occupational Therapists. Graduates of this program will be prepared to succeed in the health and community care contexts as ethical, socially responsible, life-long learners.

Priority filing deadline for all components of an application (or a re-application) must be received by October 1st for admittance the following fall. Applications received after October 1st will be reviewed at the discretion of the program faculty.

**Applications received by the October 1st deadline will be reviewed for this application cycle. Applicants will be given a reasonable amount of time for any remaining items to be received by the university. Interviews will be by invitation only in mid-November, for those who have met the minimum requirements.**

The University of Southern Maine offers a MOT 4+1 Accelerated Pathway for those currently enrolled in one of three specific USM bachelor degree programs, as well as Return to Practice courses for OT practioners who wish to refresh their skills when preparing to return to the OT profession after an extended absence.
