EDUCATOR’S OPEN HOUSE

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

 Have you visited us lately?   If not, have we changed!!   We now offer omni-dome shows (shows that use the entire dome as the screen) and have updated our gallery.     We want to present you with our new offerings!   

 On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, we’re opening our doors to educators and their families.   See our new full dome solar system show “Eight Planets and Counting,” the brand new “Little Star That Could” omni-dome program.  We also include “Two Small Pieces of Glass,” a full dome program about telescopes.

What can you do at the Southworth Planetarium?  See a showenroll in a classattend a lecture, buy fascinating science toys, explore our exhibit area, learn the night sky.

We are open throughout the week. Not only do we have public shows, but we offer private shows to school groups, scout troops, birthday parties, business organizations, and more.

Like the Universe, itself, the more you explore the planetarium, the more you'll discover!
