Nicole has a B.A. in Psychology from Keene State College in New Hampshire and an M.A. in World Religions from Bangor Theological Seminary. When she’s not working as an administrative specialist for USM she is busy officiating weddings, reading poetry at open mic-nights around Portland, painting, writing, and doing volunteer work as a master gardener with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. Her interests include art, poetry, fiction writing, and activism work, particularly in environmental and racial justice.
Nicole is the administrative assistant for the Department of History and Political Science and also provides support for the Maine Model United Nations Program. Currently she assists two student groups: The USM Maine Gun Safety Coalition and USM and Community Political Action Association. She is a member of the Classified Staff Senate currently serving as secretary. She has been a Notary Public in the State of Maine since 2002.
