Certificate Program in Human Resource Management
Taught by highly experienced human resource professionals, this certificate program offers a comprehensive view of professional development in the practical application of concepts of compensation, performance management, training and development, personnel law, recruitment, fringe benefits, and labor relations.
This program is designed for entry- to mid-level managers of human resource departments, recruiters and staff specialists, small business owners, and individuals looking to enhance their skills in human resource management.
The Certificate Program in Human Resource Management consists of six required courses and twelve hours of electives. This program allows participants to customize the curriculum to match their career and organizational needs.

Deborah Whitworth, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is Owner and CEO of HR Studio Group, LLC. Throughout her 30 years of human resources management and leadership experience, Deb has helped a variety of nonprofit and for-profit services and industries build and maintain compliant cultures of excellence.
Michelle G. Winn, CPLP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, currently serves as the Director of Training for Acadia Insurance and is the only person in Maine to have successfully completed the requirements to earn the Certified Professional of Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation from the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
