Naamah Azoulay Jarnot joined the University of Southern Maine in July 2017. Her responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the tutoring service at The Learning Commons, hiring and training student employees to serve in the roles of peer tutors and desk assistants, and developing online academic support resources and programs. Originally from Massachusetts, Naamah has lived in New York, Israel, and Italy. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Theology from Colby College, and earned her Master’s degree in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University. Her professional experiences have included preparing Northeastern University students for their initial co-op experiences, managing communications for Berwick Academy, and guiding college students through the process of fulfilling their public service projects for the Clinton Global Initiative. In her free time, Naamah enjoys golfing, traveling, and reading legal thrillers.
