Professor Whitaker's area of expertise is cellular biology and infectious diseases. He offers courses in human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, cell biology, and immunology. His research focus is on the genetic effects of pollution and on the immunophysiology of reproduction.
Professor Whitaker also serves as Chair and Associate Professor of the Natural & Applied Sciences department at the Lewiston-Auburn College campus.
