What led you to pursue your education at USM? I had an opportunity of working as a direct support professional. I really enjoy helping others. I found the experience really rewarding, and although the days are stressful at times, I always find something in my day that brings me fulfillment. It made me realize what I want to do for my future with majoring in social work, and I felt USM was the place I wanted to be.
Have you had an experience at USM that you feel changed your life or your view of the world? I am grateful for the opportunity I had as a social work intern in the Disability Service Center. The internship has been a great learning experience. It provided me with knowledge I need as a social worker. I am hopeful that the skills that I have acquired will be useful and continually improve in the future as social worker.
What are your future plans? I would like to see myself learning more and being good at what I do,
Is there anyone you'd like to thank? I want to thank my family, friends, the USM staff that I worked with and my professors.
