The five-part series will explore opportunities for creative problem solving in the changing landscape of business and higher education.

Four of USM's Husky Vets have taken home the silver trophy at the Student Veterans of America's National Business Plan Competition.

A new five-act play, “The Poet and the Assassin,” written by Reza Jalali of the University of Southern Maine’s Honors Program offers historic and contemporary insight into the situation of women in Iran, a society shrouded in mystery.
USM School of Music announces Spring 2018 season, opening with Valentine’s concert by Lantz and Kargul
The USM School of Music announced its full lineup of performances and events for the spring semester, including the popular Faculty Concert Series, a production of the musical “A Man of No Importance,” a music education workshop led by world-renowned educator and clinician Dr. Alice Hammel, the 3rd Annual Big Band Ballroom Bash and the Maine premiere of Stephen Edwards’ choral masterwork, “Requiem for My Mother.”

Interactive show exploring memories opens Thursday at USM Art Gallery
The University of Southern Maine Art Gallery examines memories — where they come from and what ignites them — in a new alumni exhibit opening on Thursday, Jan. 25. It's titled, "Recollections: Stolen Dreams, Plundered Memories." An opening reception is scheduled for Feb. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a talk scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
