USM School of Music faculty member Adam Ayan along with mastering legend Bob Ludwig were profiled by the Portland Press Herald to promote their recent "MaineVoices Live" talk.

Both Ayan and Ludwig have worked with prestigious recording artists inside the walls of the Portland-based Gateway Mastering Studios. The duo has worked with such artists as the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Beyoncé and Barbra Streisand, just to name a few

Gateway Mastering Studios serves as a final stop for creating a single or and album. The duo work to make the songs sound perfect, watching for any background noise or distortion.
