USM's Thompson talks adulthood and age limits on Maine Public's "Maine Calling"

Bruce Thompson, a University of Southern Maine Psychology professor, joined a panel of experts for a Maine Public radio show exploring adulthood and age limits.

Such issues as marriage’s minimum age, marijuana purchasing by young people and a minimum age to buy a gun were discussed during the “Maine Calling” discussion.

Thompson was accompanied by Dr. Jonathan Fanburg, a pediatrician specializing in adolescent medicine at Maine Medical Center, and Dr. Robyn Ostrander, who serves as both the interim chief of the Department of Psychiatry and the medical director of the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Maine Medical Center.
