Founding curator of media arts at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Robert R. Riley will discuss the significance of artists’ media installations from the 1970s to present day in a lecture at the Burnham Lounge, Robie Andrews Hall, Gorham campus at 1 p.m., Friday, October 21. His second talk at 1 p.m. Friday, November 4, also in Burnham Lounge, Robie Andrews Hall, Gorham, will cover the role art museums and contemporary institutions play in the advancement of independent media arts.
