USM's QC2 Lab featured at 2017 New England Craft Brew Summit
The 2017 New England Craft Brew Summit drew brewers, bankers, business lawyers and beer suppliers to the Portland campus for a full schedule of speeches and educational sessions. The university also hosted tours of its Quality Control Collaboratory. Created in partnership with the Maine Brewers' Guild, the lab provides testing, research and education to Maine breweries while also providing students with a hands-on educational experience.

ICYMI: King and Pingree praise USM and the QC2 Lab at New England Craft Brew Summit
Last year, two members of Maine's Congressional delegation — Sen. Angus King and Rep. Chellie Pingree — toured USM's QC2 Lab as part of the Inaugural New England Craft Brew Summit. The next New England Craft Beer Summit will be held on March 31st at USM and the QC2 lab will be offering testing, tours and be participating in panel discussions.
