What: It is trauma-informed, vinyasa style yoga class. Many people in recovery and recovery allies are turning to yoga for clarity and assistance with recovery and relapse prevention.
Morning Movement will be a gentle, all-access level vinyasa flow class. In class you can expect soothing pranayama (breath work) and linking of breath to movement to increase the connection of body and mind. Through repetition of asana (yoga poses) the mind begins to calm and we are able to more consciously move in the body. Class includes props for support, aromatherapy
Where: Meet at the ROCC (top floor of Sullivan Complex on the Portland campus)
