To conveniently serve our students, companies and organizations who inquire about degrees awarded or enrollment data around the clock, the University of Southern Maine has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for verification of student enrollment status.

The "Enrollment Verification" is now available through MaineStreet, which allows current degree-seeking students to print their own enrollment verification.

This enrollment verification can be presented to health insurance agencies, loan companies, car dealerships, housing authorities, consumer product companies, banks, etc., as official evidence of enrollment at the University of Southern Maine. The verification is considered a valid, certified document. You can use it in place of one you would request from the Registrar's Office. If you are not able to obtain the verification through Student Self Service for any reason, please contact the Office of Registrar by phone 207-780-5230 or e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org to request the verification.
Please note that the Clearinghouse is not able to process verifications requiring academic (g.p.a.) information. These requests must be processed through the Office of the Registrar.
