Students in RSP 299 The Sea Around Us took a field trip to the USM Art Gallery to see Lusus Naturae, an exciting digital video installation featuring the work of Ólöf Nordal. A magical, mystical underwater world! Visiting this work gave students the chance to consider how topics in the course--sea life, sea stories, sea change--might also be inspirational to visual artists. The accompanying audio track created a fully immersive experience.
