Profile
Tim Wooten has been teaching writing for more than thirty years. He has been a member of the teaching staff in the Russell Scholars Program at USM since 1998. As a writer he has been published in the Portland Press Herald, the Maine Sunday Telegram, the North American Review, the Virginia Quarterly Review, and other periodicals large and small. He is a double major graduate (cum laude) of the University of Southern Maine and has a Master in Fine Arts degree in Literature and Writing from Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont. He believes most strongly in the concept of “learning communities” as exemplified in our Russell Scholars Program at the University of Southern Maine. Ask him about his passion for acting.
