Helen D. '85 and Waldeck E. Mainville Jr. Scholarship


This scholarship was established at the University of Southern Maine in 2005, by Helen D. '85 and Waldeck E. Mainville Jr. and friends on the occasion of Professor Mainville's retirement from the University after 40 years of service.


Eligible students must be junior or senior mathematics majors (graduating seniors not eligible). Preference will be given to students who desire to enter the teaching profession. Financial need and academic standing will be considered when selecting the student. Recipient will be selected by the Mathematics faculty.
