Hervey A. Hanscom


The Hervey A. Hanscom Scholarship is funded by a trust fund given in 1954 by Mr. Hanscom, a Gorham graduate of 1890. The fund was originally created to provide scholarship support for students from Lebanon, Sanford and Springvale, Maine. Beginning in the fall 2009 semester, the eligibility criteria was amended to include all first year or transfer students from York County, Maine, with preference given to students from Lebanon, Sanford and Springvale, Maine. 


Application for undergraduate Admission and FAFSA. Preference will be given to students from the Town of Lebanon, Sanford or Springvale with demonstrated academic achievement and financial need.
