Peregrine Press Scholarship in honor of Kate Mahoney and Marcia Carner


The scholarship provides membership in the Peregrine Press for one year, beginning June 1 through May of the following year.  It is presented on alternate years by the Maine College of Art and the University of Southern Maine.  The scholarship recipient, a promising graduating printmaker, is selected by the head of the printmaking department.  It is important that the student plans to live in the Portland area for the year of the award.  Scholarship recipients are expected to  have the time and schedule to enable them to actively participate in the press to further their interest in printmaking, attend bi-annual meetings, participate in shows, clean-up days, and workshops.


A promising graduating senior printmaker who will be living in the Portland area and has the time and desire to commit to Peregrine Press.

Award Amount

The value of a membership to Peregrine Press for one year is over $500.
