Recovery Oriented Campus Center Scholarship

Eligibility

Preference will be given to a candidate who meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • Students who self-identify as in recovery for alcohol and/or drug addiction.
  • Students must be enrolled at USM full-time.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must have demonstrated financial need (completed the application process for financial aid by completing the FAFSA).

Award Amount

Will be based on individual student needs.

Priority deadline of January 1

How to Apply

Submit your application for financial aid (FAFSA) and send a 1 page essay related to Recovery and your need for Financial Assistance.

You should submit your essay directly to Nancy Davis Griffin by e-mail at nancy.d.griffin@maine.edu on or before January 1st.
