Recovery Oriented Campus Center Scholarship

Eligibility

Preference will be given to a candidate who meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • Students who self-identify as in recovery for alcohol and/or drug addiction.
  • Students must be enrolled at USM full-time.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must have demonstrated financial need (completed the application process for financial aid by completing the FAFSA).

Award Amount

Will be based on individual student needs.

Priority deadline of January 15

How to Apply

Submit your application for financial aid (FAFSA) and send a 1 page essay related to Recovery and your need for Financial Assistance.

You should submit your essay directly to Nancy Davis Griffin by e-mail at nancy.d.griffin@maine.edu on or before January 15th.
