Audway Stuart and Phyllis Lord Treworgy Scholarship Fund

Description

The Audway Stuart and Phyllis Lord Treworgy Scholarship Fund was established at the University of Southern Maine in 1988 by a gift from Miss Esther W. Wood in honor of her long friendship with Audway and Phyllis Treworgy.  The fund description is reviewed to reflect USM's academic reorganization in 2012.

Income from the fund shall be used to provide scholarship assistance annually to juniors or seniors enrolling in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (previously known as the College of Arts and Sciences) who possess a minimum 3.0 grade point average and Sciences undergraduate program who have demonstrated academic achievement and a commitment to their degree.

  • A major in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
  • Junior or continuing senior
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
