Description
This scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Burchard Dunn, a founding partner in Berry, Dunn, McNeil, & Parker, by his family and friends. Dunn’s many years of commitment to his community included serving as a state legislator and as chair of USM Corporate Partners. The award is given in his memory to an Accounting or Business major who upholds some of his high ideals and who is involved in our community.
Eligibility
Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or better required; Demonstrate financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA; Enrolled in a minimum of 6 USM credits when funds are received; Will graduate no sooner than December of the academic year funds are received; Preference given to students who have contributed to the community.

Students must complete a School of Business scholarship application and essay. Essay topic: Describe contributions you have made to the community through your volunteerism and community service.
