USM Classics Scholarship

Description

Established in 2000 by Peter Aicher, Associate Professor of Modern and Classical Languages and Literature and the Classics faculty. In 2015, at the request of Dr. Aicher, the funds was revised to broaden criteria for current academic programs and courses. The fund shall be used for scholarships for full-time undergraduate students in Humanities majors, including the areas of History, English, Philosophy, Liberal Studies, and Art History.

Eligibility

  • Continuing sophomores (currently have 24 to 53 credits) in Humanities or Social Science
  • Demonstrate academic achievement (3.0+ GPA)
  • Financial need EFC below 8,000 for FT in-state or 13,000 for FT out-of-state students.
