USM announces Fall 2018 Dean's List

The University of Southern Maine (USM) is pleased to announce that more than 1,200 undergraduate students from across the globe have been named to the Fall Semester 2018 Dean's List.

On Dec, 26, Pender Makin, a double alumna with USM degrees in 1991 and 2008, was nominated by then-Governor-elect Janet Mills to lead the Maine Department of Education. Two days later, Mills nominated former Portland Police Chief Mike Sauschuck '98 to lead the Department of Public Safety.
